“The roar of joy that set the worlds in motion
Is reverberating in your body
And the space between bodies.
Beloved, listen.”
— Lorin Roche, The Radiance Sutras
New Moons, Full Moons, cosmic cycles. We are part of the cosmic whole, and when we begin to pay attention to the cycles of nature, the tidal rush and the pull back, the pulse of the universe itself (what we call Spanda, or the primordial vibration) we connect to deep truths within ourselves.
As we learn to listen to the pulse of nature, we learn to listen deeply to ourselves: what is true for me? Am I reacting out of old patterns, or am I learning to rewrite the way I move through the world?
“The sacred power of the space will carry you
Into the dancing radiant emptiness
That is the source of all.”
— Lorin Roche, The Radiance Sutras
Yoga practice is an invitation to step into this dancing radiant emptiness. To drop our stories, and connect to what is true for us in each moment. Deep listening is one of the gifts of this practice— how do you show up for yourself, and step into your radiance, on the mat?
