At their best, yoga and mindfulness practices ask us to uproot systems and patterns within us that keep us from experiencing freedom & wholeness, and ask us to do the same out in the world.
Right now, as a collective and individuals, we are going through this process of digging up everything that needs to see the light of day, so that we can build a just & equitable world.
Yoga, by nature, is a path of action >> this isn’t “sit by the sidelines” kind of work.
It’s uncomfortable by design… Yoga asks us also to not tap-out when things get hard, when our point of view gets challenged, when a new layer of understanding is revealed.
Staying in the heat— what is called Tapas— is a skill and a practice.
And so now, we practice.
